What is the difference between an event agency and an experiential agency?
Börn editorial team ·
An event agency focuses on delivering an event well: logistics, venue and production. An experiential agency starts earlier, with the audience and the idea, and designs the experience as a marketing tool. Many agencies, including Börn, do both.
Event agency
Best when you already know what the event is: a conference, a gala, a kick-off. You need it planned and produced reliably.
Experiential agency
Best when you know the goal but not the format: reach a new audience, launch a product, build a place in culture. The agency proposes what the experience should be.
Why the line is blurring
Good production is part of a good experience, and good experiences need production. Börn designs and produces in one team, which is why we describe ourselves as a cultural experience and event agency.
